Naomi Toledo is a Designer based in Central California. She graduated in 2019 from CSU Fresno with a BFA in Graphic Design. Naomi has done a little bit of everything thanks to her past positions as a UI/UX research intern, design intern for a startup company, and as a junior designer at a full-service agency.
Naomi was awarded a National Gilman Scholarship in 2018 to study and intern abroad for a summer in Seoul, South Korea. Naomi was an intern for a Startup company where she worked alongside senior designers on promotional material and packaging for their newly designed kids' toys.
In her last year of undergrad, Naomi became a research assistant to develop the UI and UX of an AI Chatbot and Website. Naomi was able to conduct user research, create wireframes, and build prototypes. Naomi became certified in social and behavioral research through CITI Program to run usability tests on her prototypes. Naomi continued to expand her knowledge about UI and UX by taking additional courses and creating projects through these courses.
Above all this, Naomi remained an active member of her sorority. She held a couple of different positions; Treasurer, Recruitment Chair, and Public Relations. Being a part of a Sorority allowed her to gain and develop professional practices, communication skills, and leadership skills.
After graduating, Naomi began work as a Junior Designer for Jeffrey Scott Agency, a full-service agency in Fresno, CA. Here she was able to work on a vast range of projects such as logo design, campaigns, magazine design, social media content, and production work.
Naomi continues to stay on top of graphic design trends and practices. She is currently working on expanding her knowledge in coding.
Apart from design, she likes to shoot film, turn her illustrations into woodblock prints, and collect stationery.
